The District of Lunenburg, Town of Bridgewater and Town of Mahone Bay councils have approved covering the disposal cost of brush removed from residential properties in their areas, to help minimize wildfire risk. The waste site 908 Mullock Road in Whynott’s Settlement will accept clean brush free of charge, year-round, starting April 1. Brush must be delivered directly to the waste site. For more information, call (902) 543-2991.
