Household Hazardous Waste Guide: Idenitifies hazardous items and gives you information about where to take those items for safe disposal.
Lightbulb Recycling: Product Care website. The waste site at 908 Mullock Road in Whynott's Settlement accepts lightbulbs for recycling.
Battery Recycling: Call2Recycle website. The waste site at 908 Mullock Road in Whynott's Settlement accepts batteries for recycling.

Garbage must be placed in clear, colourless bags for curbside collection, with the exception of one non-transparent bag per household/business, each garbage collection.

Borrow Sorting Bins for your public or private event free of charge, call in advance (902) 543-2991. Bins have waste sorting signs. Two sizes are available, 240L size (pictured) and collapsible wire bins.
