Bags of Compost

A compost giveaway is being held at the Lunenburg Regional Community Recycling Centre.

May 11 to May 14 8:00 – 4 :00

May 15 8:00 - 1:30

Each household can fill two feed bags of compost, weighing 50 lbs each. Bag quantities will be limited. Those with a truck or trailer can take a half cubic yard of compost. Trucks and trailers will be loaded for residents.

Extra bags of compost may be bought for $2 each. Be prepared, bring containers in case bags run out.

Residents must bring their own shovels and gloves to fill their bags.

The Giveaway is subject to weather conditions. Physical distancing and other Public Health guidelines will be followed at all times. The Recycling Centre is located at 908 Mullock Road in Whynott’s Settlement. Questions? Call (902) 543-2991.
