Provincial Plastic Bag Ban

A province-wide plastic bag ban will apply to businesses such as grocery stores, department stores, restaurants, convenience stores and clothing stores.

After October 30, businesses will only be allowed to offer paper or reusable bags to their customers for a fee or free. there will be certain exceptions to the ban. Read More.
