How to Dispose of Items Not Accepted During Clean-Up

Electronics drop off free of charge at the Lunenburg Regional Community Recycling Centre, 908 Mullock Road, Whynott's Settlement or any Electronics Recycling Products Association depot. List of accepted items.

Tires drop off up to 4 tires at any tire retailer, at one time. Tires are accepted free of charge. Tire recycling program details.

Household Hazardous Waste Residents of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, Town of Bridgewater and the Town of Mahone Bay may drop off these wastes free of charge at the Lunenburg Regional Community Recycling Centre. This includes paint and propane tanks. List of accepted items. Paint can also be accepted at any Enviro Depot.

Appliances Containing Ozone-Depleting Gases (Fridges, freezers, air conditioners and dehumifiers) may be dropped off for free at the Lunenburg Regional Community Recycling Centre. Gases are drained from appliances on-site, no charge.
